A swarm of bees lingered outside my studio one day, searching
for their queen, and inspired these pins. Until then I didn’t
know what these inlaid carnelian beads would become. I just knew
I was saving them for something special. I enlisted the help of
my “torchman” Warren Allen to create my own swarm.
There are four bees and a slightly larger queen, not pictured.
